Increasing Tendency of Cooperative Societies to Intl. Interactions

Coincidence of Intl. Conference on Advantages and Capacities of Cooperatives in Economic and Social Development in post-sanctions period and sanctions relief will pave suitable ground for cooperative societies in order to boost and increase its activities in international arenas.
Announcing the above in an interview with our reporter, Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Eng. Seyyed Hamid Kalantari said: «Studying capacities and advantages of cooperatives sector for more development is the main objective of this prestigious seminar.» For this purpose, experiences of developed countries will be used optimally in this respect, he said, adding: «Since developed countries have obtained enough experience in cooperatives sector, they can help increase situation of cooperatives sector in the country efficiently.» This prestigious international seminar will be held in the presence of senior and expert officials of International Labor Organization (ILO), significant Asian and European Cooperative Societies and expert Iranian officials, he maintained.Specialized meetings will be held on the sidelines of this seminar, he opined. Economic growth and materialization of objectives of policy of resistance economy will be followed up strictly as priority of cooperatives sector, he said, adding: «Generation of employment opportunities will also be followed up in cooperatives sector according to the Development Plan.» Seven strategies will be taken into serious consideration in materialization of objectives of cooperative sector, he observed.
Moreover following up objectives of acculturation, development of market and brand will also be followed up, he maintained.
