Significance of Labor Cooperatives and Employment Stability

A prestigious conference was held in Tehran on «International Conference on Advantages and Capacities of Cooperatives in Economic and Social Development» and hosted different speakers from across the world.
Simel Esim is one of key speakers in this prestigious Conference who said: «Reconstruction of economic institutes through labor cooperatives should be taken into consideration in line with safeguarding and stabilizing employment especially in crisis condition.»
It should be noted that she is senior researcher of Coop. Unit-ILO (International Labor Organization). She holds Ph.D. degree in economics from Washington University, MA in International Relations from Italy, BA in Political Science, University of Istanbul, Turkey. In the beginning, she said: «Cooperatives in France, Portugal, Spain, and Greece have been established with the aim of facilitating current activities within legal framework.»
Of course, adherence to legal framework of is not enough merely, rather, learning financial affairs, management and entrepreneurship should be taken into serious consideration for laborers.»
