Cooperatives at the Focal Attention of Economic and Power Elites

Intl. Conference on Advantages and Capacities of Cooperatives in Economic and Social Development will be held at Tehran Olympic Hotel on Oct. ۴-۵, ۲۰۱۵ in the presence of ۲۷ senior officials of various countries working in cooperatives sector, a great number of cooperative activists, managers of chamber of cooperative societies and cooperative unions, university lecturers and governmental managers and experts.
Announcing the above in an interview with our reporter, Executive Secretary of the Seminar Dr. Hamdollah Rostami announced the above statement and said: «Organizing this prestigious international seminar will pave suitable way for exchanging information in order to clarify better development of cooperatives sector in the country optimally.»
He pointed to boosting activities of cooperatives sector in post-sanctions period as the main aim behind organizing this international seminar, adding: «Benefiting from experiences of other countries gained in this respect, new policies will be formulated for the development of this sector in the country suitably.»
Cooperatives sector has presently been turned into a socioeconomic movement in world, he said, adding: «Cooperatives sector has been put at the focal attention of concerned officials after some decades.»
Focusing on environmental issues in world is considered as another approach of developing cooperative society, he said, adding: «Green and new energies should be substituted with previous energies and presently, green energy cooperative societies have been launched at the coastal areas of European countries such as the Netherlands, Finland, UK, Australia and Canada.»
